The gift order flow, end to end. Checkout is not open yet: nothing here charges anyone and no card details are collected on this site.
Gift checkout is not open. This form saves a pending order so the flow can be tested and so a code exists to print on a card. It takes no payment, shows no price and collects no card details.
How the purchase will work
- You choose a length and, if you want, an email address and a short message.
- We create the order and a code, unpaid. Nothing is charged and nothing is redeemable.
- When checkout opens, paying happens on the payment provider's hosted page. Your card details go to them and are never typed into, seen by, logged by or stored on this site.
- Payment marks the order paid. Only a paid order can be redeemed — the redemption statement requires it.
- You print the card, or send the code. The recipient redeems it whenever they like, because it does not expire.
Step three is the one worth being pedantic about. Card details belong on the payment provider's domain, under their PCI scope, and a site that asks you to type a card number into its own form is doing something it should not be doing. There is no field on any TempoLife page that accepts a card number.
Choose a length
Ordering needs an account, because an order belongs to a buyer who can later look it up, print the card again and ask about it. It does not need the recipient to have an account — they can create one whenever they redeem.
Why no price is shown
Because none has been set. A number here would be a guess dressed up as a fact, and the first person to notice it had changed would be right to conclude that the rest of the site is the same kind of guess. When gift pricing exists it will appear on this page, in the currency you are charged in, next to the refund terms, before there is any way to pay.
