Pick a system

Select a point on the figure, or use the numbered list beneath it. Each opens a page with the metrics that relate to that system, the calculators and references that apply, the everyday levers, and an honest note on what tracking can and cannot show.

Body mapA front-view figure. Each marked point is a link to a body system: brain, eyes, hormones, heart, lungs, immune system, liver, digestion, kidneys, muscles, skin, and bones and joints.Heart and circulation1Lungs and breathing2Digestion3Muscles4Bones and joints5Brain and sleep6Skin7Hormones8Immune system9Kidneys and hydration10Liver11Eyes12
  1. 1. Heart and circulation — The heart, the blood vessels and the pressure and rhythm that move blood around the body.
  2. 2. Lungs and breathing — The lungs and airways that move oxygen into the blood and carbon dioxide out.
  3. 3. Digestion — The stomach, gut and everything that turns food into what the body uses.
  4. 4. Muscles — The skeletal muscles that move you and that you can build and keep with training and protein.
  5. 5. Bones and joints — The skeleton and the joints — kept strong by load, and by the nutrients that build bone.
  6. 6. Brain and sleep — The brain, mood and the sleep that maintains both.
  7. 7. Skin — The body's largest organ, and a visible reflection of hydration, sun and sleep.
  8. 8. Hormones — The endocrine signals — thyroid, insulin, stress and sex hormones — that set the body's tempo.
  9. 9. Immune system — The defences against infection — supported by the same basics, not by any single supplement.
  10. 10. Kidneys and hydration — The kidneys that filter the blood, and the fluid and salt balance they manage.
  11. 11. Liver — The body's chemical plant — processing food, alcohol and medicines.
  12. 12. Eyes — Vision, eye strain and the habits that keep the eyes comfortable.

How to read the map

Some systems sit in one place — the heart, the liver, the kidneys — and the figure marks them where they are. Others, like the hormones and the immune system, are spread throughout the body; their points are placed only for navigation, not anatomy. Every system, located or not, links to the same kind of page: the metrics you can track, the tools that apply, and the honest limits of what a tracker sees.

The recurring theme across all twelve is that the same handful of levers — sleep, movement, what you eat and drink, and not smoking — reach almost every system. A body map makes that visible: the same behaviours keep turning up, because the body is one connected system, not twelve separate ones.

Frequently asked questions

What is this for?

It is a visual index. Each body system links to the calculators, reference pages and metrics on this site that relate to it, so you can start from a part of the body rather than from a tool.

Can a body map diagnose anything?

No. It is a way to navigate, and each page is careful about what tracking can and cannot tell you. Anything diagnostic is a matter for a clinician.

Which systems does it cover?

Twelve: heart and circulation, lungs and breathing, digestion, muscles, bones and joints, brain and sleep, skin, hormones, the immune system, kidneys and hydration, the liver, and the eyes.

Is the map accessible without a mouse?

Yes. Every point on the figure is a keyboard-focusable link with a label, and the numbered list beneath it repeats every link — so the map works with a keyboard, a screen reader, or images turned off.
